Galvanic Cell Simulation
The Galvanic cell is what our battery was modeled after. A simple salt bridge battery that powered a calculator. An example of it is on the right. This battery is powered by the Zn anode loses mass due to oxidation which makes electrons flow through the wire, while Zn is flowing into the Zn(NO3)2, into the Cu cathode, which creates a charge. The Cu Cathode gains mass from electrons merging with floating Cu in the Cu(NO3)2.
